Front Lip ideas I need photoshop help (non sport model)

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, the time has come to start this thread. The front of our cuv's are very bland with no flare and boring looking, minus the sport models. I am looking for some photoshop help and am going to try to talk with a few company's to get the ball rolling. I have a rough sketch idea, please excuse my photoshop skills and let me know what you all think? the lip will fit 07-09 models minus the sport model. lmk if there is any interest. and let there be a mstr photoshopper to help me get the ball roling. As I and all of you probably dont wanna fork out 2-4g's on the body kit for our vehicles. Once I get some input I will start calling around.

Ok I'll bite. I personally like how it looks already. The open area in the front seems unfinished, looks like fangs. Also, very low to the ground so easy to damage.

You did a good job with the photoshop, fun project. Not that it matters, but I think there is a function where you can 'copy' color, so you could make it match your Edge color.

We should have a thread where we do silly things with photoshop. :)

It will sit higher, I like the small fangs although I did make them a little dramatic. It will probably only sit 2-3 in lower than stock, at the max which isn't very much. please feel free to throw some off your own photoshopped lips for the edge on here, and at the end I will start a poll to see how many people want one, and which one they actually like. Once I get that number I can talk to a few company's and see where we stand on production.

Here's a quickie without/with fangs.

This looks ok.

But don't you think you'll need the side skirts?

Which leads us to the back.

Then your Edge will look "awesome"

It wont sit as low as it appears in the photoshop trust me. Front lips never do, and if you look at the stock edge there is a small lip on the bottom more of a protector lip if i must say. The lip itself will sit maybe two to 3 inches lower at the max in the front, which isn't really noticeable. I will make sure the company I speak with knows not to make it really really low so there would be no need for skirts or rear. Also most company's that do make front lips are located in California so I would need a doner edge out there for test fitment as I am in Florida. Also if we get into adding skirts and rear diffuser price goes up, and I am trying to avoid that unless people are actually willing to buy this kit as a whole and not just a lip as we will probably need at least 5-10 to create this kit.
