e-Mel
I have corrosion on the alloy "lip" of my Edge's wheels. The chrome clad is "not" affected. I have 37,500 miles on it. The lease will end in Sept. 2010 (i have paid in advance for extra miles). Is this corrosion considered normal wear and tear or will Ford charge an excess fee at lease end? igcitng
I have a new 2008 with about 8k on it and I have the same thing happening. Just crummy wheels I think.

Same on mine and they have a new set waiting for me at the dealer, which I will pick up on Friday, already fitted with my winter tyres. Covered on warranty and new part since Sept 08. Hopefully the new wheel supplier has done a better job.
