Day light running lamps

Recommended Posts

Hi all, just a newbie here.

I previously owned a ford expedition and was able to find a sequence of turning the lamps switch on and off a number of times, along with the ignition switch also being used. I was able to program my expedition to turn on day light running lamps.

I was wondering with all of the reprogramming on Edges and MXK's being done today if anyone has run across some thing like this. Looking to try for my new 2010 edge.

Thanks Guys,

unless in Canada - where DRLs are turned on by law - they are off from the factory in USA. And, you have to go to the dealer to have turned on as they are set via a computer & can;t be done by owner. At least, that is the way it was for 2007-2009, so I assume same for '10.

Search for DRLs here and you can read more on the topic.

Thanks Lex;

I just was not sure on late model units, how or where.

Thanks for the advise, I'll check with a buddy of mine. He is a ford mechanic, but 2200 miles away. Just hate to think I have to go back to AZ to get this fixed. Here in So Fl, I can't even get a ford dealer to talk to me about this.
