RNichols14
So I installed aftermarket amps and subs to the stock HU. I used just a standard $20 part to get RCA's ran to the HU. No Problem with the Battery. I recently installed the MTX re-q for the RCA's and everything was running fine until a week later the car was hesitateing to start. Now the battery is dead everytime I turn it off. In the little eye glass on the battery its still green. Any one have this problem before? I went over all the wiring for everything and it still does it. I even disconnected everything and still dies on me. Im wondering if its a charging problem, do I need to upgrade the battery, or is their an electrical problem? -Rich
Depiry
Have you checked for a battery drain or also tested battery after charging with a load tester, and the charging voltage while running:13.8/14.2 volts, you may be exceeding alternator output by adding all the amps, check your charging circuit,Marty

RNichols14
Well took the battery into the dealer today and the said it was a bad battery. Something about the cranking amps being a fraction of what its suppose to be. I just bought a Optima yellow top for it now just incase the extra accessories made it bad. Thanks for the input!
