MKX2007
My local FLM dealer has 1 on their lot. Its not a bad looking truck, if a little bland as Ford trucks go. It looks more like an off road truck then for driving around town. I'd concider buying one, but would never pay a premium to get it. I think they had it right when they were building the Lightning. pxb006
That could possibly be the ugliest grill ever!
akirby
It looks more like an off road truck then for driving around town. Well duh! That's what it was designed for. It even ran Baja this year.
MKX2007
Well duh! That's what it was designed for. It even ran Baja this year. "As we entered Anza-Borrego State Park after about 80 miles of stop-and-go urban traffic and curving country roads, the most frustrating portions of the drive gave way to long, straight stretches of undulating highway with varying wavelengths and amplitudes that brought back memories of what it felt like to bomb across the desert as a passenger in the Raptor last fall. The Raptor firmly hunkered down and soaked up everything we could throw at it at any speed across this tamed ribbon of rolling desert terrain until we reached our destination for the first day." "What we learned: The Raptor lives to run in the desert, but it also works well as a daily driver"
BlazedUp
The interior is very classy and ergonomic........you would never expect this truck to have that kind of interior. They would have been much better off putting the supercharged 5.4 litre engine from the lightning. I agree, that grille is Fugly !

You don't want a supercharged engine for off roading in the desert heat. The 6.2L Scorpion is on the way and will provide an ample power boost. MKX2007
But it's still designed as an off road vehicle - just check the suspension. Thats pretty much my point. Its seems to be mostly an off road truck, but much of the advertisng is promoting it as an on road truck as well.

Let's face it - there isn't much of a market for an off-road only factory truck. So they designed a streetable off road truck. And they seemed to pull it off without compromising the off road capability. Best of both worlds?
