bfeldstein
I'm looking at an MKX with Elite and Ultimate pkgs + heated rear seats (MSRP $43,530). The invoice price is $39,635. The dealer told me he would sell the car for $42,000. How much above invoice are people paying? I don't have access to any of the special pricing plans that are mentioned here. I can't answer your question (hopefully, someone else can) but you might want to consider seeing the X-Plan price as well.

What is the X-plan price, and who is eligble?
robertlane
What is the X-plan price, and who is eligble? The X-plan pin is given out by Ford employees. Here's the link to the X-plan pin, including requesting one.

So anyone buying a car within 30 days can request an X-plan pin code? Is the X-plan price honored by all Ford dealers (and, I'm assuming, Lincoln dealers as well)? Is the X-plan price close to the invoice price?

From what I've read on the Internet, to qualify for X-plan pricing you have to be a Ford employee or relative. Is that true? Can anyone request and get a PIN? How does this work exactly? iiTenaciousg
You do not need to be an employee or relative to get X plan........You need to be an employee or relative to get A plan, which is better than X plan. I got on the A plan for my edge which had a sticker of $33,185 and it brought the price down to around $30,500. There is a formula for both plans that you can use to figure out the price on either plan I can't recall them at the moment but I know they are out there. For X plan you just need to be a friend of a Ford employee in order to use their PIN number. They only have a certain number of X plans they can give out per year as well. (my father works for Ford). Zentos
We paid $681 over invoice price on our MKX that we purchased through the fleet program that my work is a member of. I believe it's a really good deal considering what I've read and that it's a new model. With the special financing going on right now too it was the best deal around! You can scratch blueovalforums off your list of places to get a pin from. Nobody has been given any over the past month. I payed under the X-plan even as a Ford Dealership employee. -Dan

What i am asking is have they employee's run out for this year (at least those who go through blue oval)?

RW MKX AWD Creme Brulee Edge AWD Blazing Copper Do you still happen to have any pins available? I am in need of one so that I can upgrade my 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 into a Copper Edge SEL Plus. I would appreciate it if you let me know, the dealership near me is getting the exact one in in the next week and a half. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
