pbc
So I just tried installing the "Sync Status Checker" which is the first install per the syncmyride.com site. Confirmed the download and brought the USB device to my Edge and installed it there. Got the "Installation Complete" screen. Hit Menu to exit, came back in the house, input the USB key back into my computer to "confirm installation", and keep getting an unsuccessful confirmation error. Has anyone encountered this and what did you have to do to fix? Thanks! Steve
Lex Talionis
yes, his was a HUGE known issue.. let me give you a a piece of advice. skip it. it does nothing for you and you do not need it to do the newer and latest upgrade(s). pbc
Funny, as that is what their support told me. Basically just replied "don't worry, you are on the latest version" and that was it. But I think in order to download anything you first need to get that Checker showing as installed. I.e., I couldn't download 911 Assist (though I guess I already had it installed) until I downloaded the Status Checker.
igcitng
911 assist has to be done at the dealer if it did not come with the vehicle. It is an upgrade, not an update. Even if the usb gives you trouble when you plug into the computer, check your account for the version you are on, should show it is up to date. I had the same problem.
