securinu Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 I opened up the glovebox to get my ipod with the a/c going and the airflow increased probably 20%. I am going to remove the under dash panel to see if i get the same effect. what is odd is that i didnt even have it on recirculate. Anyone else try this. igcitng Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 Air conditioning just has not been the same since they stopped letting us use good old freon. I do not have the fancy climate control in mine, and I agree that on a really hot day it just does not cool. Last month we got close to 100 with humidity and could not get cool on my 45 minute drive home. It helps to get the shady spot under the tree when I can. More with the glovebox open but dont really want to drive around with it open all the time.
