Limitations with Navi??

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. This forum has been very helpful. We are thinking about making a 2010 Ford Edge Limited purchase this week. I've heard a lot of talk about the Navigation system limitations while in drive. Of course most talk is related to the 2008 and 2009 models. Can anyone tell me specifically what is limited while in drive?? I know DVD playback is. I'm concerned, from what I've read elsewhere, that I can't even change the Sirius channel while in drive - seems unrealistic to me.

Any addition thoughts, potential problems, etc on the Navi system would be MUCH appreciated for this potential new buyer. It's a big purchase. Thank you all so much.

Hi jr. :D Of course you can change the Sirius channel while in Drive. And the radio stations just as in any other car.

What you can not do is change the destination in the NAV system using the touch controls while in Drive. However, you can change the system using the verbal commands.

If you decide to buy, you will love your new Edge. :shift:

Good luck. :beerchug:
