speedye1
So I have a 2007 Edge that did not come with the towing package and I had the dealer install a class 2 hitch at purchase. From what I have read the package upgrades includes a oil cooler upgrade, transmission cooler upgrade, battery upgrade, anything else? Now my new boat and trailer (no brakes) are 2800lbs, so I know some upgrades are in order. Are there aftermarket upgrades that may be better than stock towing package, can I even buy the towing package components to upgrade? Anyone care to estimate pricing? Should I even upgrade or consider trading up to say an explorer, hate to drop the mpg when not towing though.

coronan
What did you decide on for parts? What battery? Did it require a tray upgrade?
