Ellen Marchese
I recently changed the tires from Hankook tires as they were worn and when I changed lanes they were "squirrelly". I put on Pirelli Scorpions and told them to do an alignment. The are still squirrelly changing lanes. What is going on? I had them do an alignment but nothing changed. Do I have to have the computer recalibrated? I formerly had a 2008 Ford Edge LTD and it was a much better handling car. I never had this problem and also had Pirelli Scorpions on this vehicle. I'm taking it back for them to "fix" it but do not understand what the problem could be. The car only has 42,000 miles on it and traded on 14 Nov 2024. edjunior
Give it a little time. I've had some Michelin's that felt "squirrely" also, but went away after a few days of decent driving. It's happened on at least a couple of cars I previously owned. If after a while it doesn't go away, I would pursue it further. But I think the tires will eventually "adjust" themselves.
