The age old 2011 Edge heated seats won't work unless it's below 32 degrees question

I have a 2011 Edge and the heated seat work but will not come on unless it's absolutely frigid. I can't seem to find anyone, anywhere that has bypassed this or created a workaround, not even on this site. I would like to use the heated seats when it's 35 or even 45 degrees, not just below freezing. There has to be a way to bypass the temperature check and just have the seats turn on when the button is pressed. So am I screwed or is there actually something I can do about it?
