(inductive energy storage) code. Why fuel pump stuff is nested under Restraint module is beyond me. But because of this my fuel pump Cricut is staying open when the car is off and my battery dies every night now. Go ME! Nothing else to report, Ford has no got back to me as of yet but we will see what happens. I left them a voicemail today. So after them looking it over, they decided it had random power drain and somehow fixed it but they don't know how and charged me a bunch of money to do so. They claim it was not the recall but have no answer as to what caused it and don't really know how it was fixed. Just charged me a several hour diagnostic fee. I think they reflashed it and are playing dumb. I honestly don't know what to think. The power train control module they updated, started throwing codes literal minutes of driving after they did it and they swear it wasn't the update. I have had no issues since I have had the car and then all the sudden I have software problems after they update the software... All I know is the codes are gone and it doesn't die overnight now. So there's that. I'm kinda pissed but can't prove anything.

No check engine light or codes. Mobile unit reprogrammed PCM. Looks like I have a 3-4 MPG decrease on interstate with cruise control. That strikes me as a significant decrease. What were your avg. speeds? What about your MPG for urban or non interstate driving?

Dang, no reason this warranty fix should be causing MPGs to drop significantly or codes to be suddenly popping up. If anything, MPGs should be improving if the goal is to be lowering emissions!!!! I have 2016 Edge, I am afraid of having this recall done!
