Steve Hahn
Just got a good 14 edge with 60k on it from original owner. I want to install rear coil over shocks. What will fit??? I did put them on an s-10 blazer for towing and they worked great. Had justtttttttttt enough room to get them installed. Just enough was enough. I know, it was a chev!!! Will it be a matter of find the current measurement of the shock and see what could fit??? Don't care what its, provided it fits. There are heavy duty springs on the market and might that be a better way to go??? We do have a spring suspension shop here in Omaha, NE and might that also me a way to go??? I can do the work myself as I want to add a bit of stability when towing a 5x10 trailer. Not really for more weight hauling, just keeping everything level. Easily levels the towing vehicle, rides smother and limits sway. My dad and I towed a trailer all over the Midwest back in the 60's with one, worked great. Think it was a Reese. Harbor Freight sells one for less than a two hundred dollar bill.
