tony59
I just replace the cooling fans and now they do not work. They worked before replacing them. They rattled is why i changed them. I hot wired the fans and they work. I do have a code P0480. I wiggled the plug to make sure it had connection. not sure where to go from here.
1004ron
Welcome. What brand of fans did you use?
enigma-2
You change just the fans or the complete fan assembly? @1004ron asked you if you used Motorcraft or aftermarket because, if you change the fan assembly and use aftermarket, fans not working afterwards is a known problem. The aftermarket fan assembly connectors have been found to be wired incorrectly. (Among other factors.)

The aftermarket fan assembly connectors have been found to be wired incorrectly. (Among other factors.) I figured it out. I bought the new assembly with module from Fisher auto parts . They sold me the wrong one. I needed one that is has the tow package, they sold me the one without the tow package. I put the old module on and they worked. Fisher is sending me the right one. Thanks for your help though.
1004ron
Best of luck with that - it will be the first reported aftermarket/3rd party one that works.
