Edge184
Pics of the fisrt coat of high heat satin black stove paint. Attempted to install the system and guess what, the one rear pipe does hit the rear sway bar on the AWD. I went to a couple of shops and they would not touch the system, stating I could have more allignment problems. So now that it is painted and can't be returned I will have to find another option or search over creation to find a shop that will make that bend in the pipe. Edge184
Hey I got a question. Anyone that put an aftermarket exhaust on. When you take the clamp of in front of the stock muffler does the pipe come right off or do you have to cut it. The one pipe looks like it is crimped on and there is a small screw or bolt into the pipe.
Edge184
Just a note, you do not have to cut off the stock exhaust. Once you loosen the clamp you can pry it away from the pipe and with a little pulling it comes off. Thank God I didn't cut it.
MKX2007
If its supposed to fit & doesn't, I would think Gibson would take care of the problem painted or not.
BlazedUp
After the muffler was painted, this voided any warranty he may have had with the muffler.
DJ Nap
...and perhaps the system ordered was for the FWD

chardylo
It should not be the same part #....Gibson's fault Well this is just another reason why I recommend doing what I did. Save money and have a muffler tech build you a CAT system from scratch. Gauranteed to fit everytime!
Edge184
Oh well, it's on now. I had a shop do the installation. Couple slight bends in the pipe and they were done.
