whateg01
I have no idea what to call it other than trim but that turns up nothing in a search here or on Google. The passenger side doors, both front and back, have this happening. How hard is it to remove this piece to repaint it?
omar302
I have the same problem on my 2016 Sport. Both right doors. If I am mistaken, this trim only comes with the complete weatherstrip. Called run channel, and they're expensive, not worth replacing in my opinion. Might try to get the painted by a shop some day. Front. Rear.
whateg01
Thanks! Just a matter of knowing what to search for. I guess if I do anything about it, I'll probably just sand it down in place, epoxy primer, and paint it.

enigma-2
Hard to tell by looking at the picture, think its called the roof drip moulding. I had something similar on my 09 MKX. Had the Ford garage replace it. They said that it's glued on and can't remove it without damaging it. Anyway the new came primed and they painted. I required that they use Lincoln OEM only, not Asian look alike. They told me the price and I changed my mind. Part alone was ~$225 range (with shipping.) Lincoln part numbers for my 2009 MKX are 7T4Z7851729CA for left side, 7T4Z7851728CA for right side. Also wanted them to repair a small scratch on my front bumper cover. Small scratch. Think they quoted $1500 and a free tube of Vaseline. (Dupi color was only $20. Close enough.) Edited October 28 by enigma-
