Back when I had a 2000 Nissan Maxima, between the forums and a wiring diagrams I was able to locate the relay that activates the corner lights on the lock or unlock signal from the BCM. I added a relay that activated a Radio Shack piezo sounder at the same time as the light flash. It sounded like a Toyota lock beep.
