2014 Ford Edge 3.5 Waterpump nightmare

Cooling fan went out- replaced

 

6 months later 5,000 miles — Waterpump went out.

 

Mechanic replaced Waterpump.

 

After Waterpump replaced and run, oil leak started.

 

Mechanic took it to a Ford private mechanic.


Other mechanic said Front timing cover cracked.

 

Other mechanic replaced cover. 
 

Mechanic gets Edge back — now rough acceleration and oil leak. Taken back to other mechanic.

 

Other mechanic re-seals timing over.

 

Mechanic gets Edge back but again oil leak and rough acceleration.

 

Mechanic finds timing off by one notch.

 

Mechanic replaced chains and slowly re-did process by ford directions. 
 

Mechanic said he changed battery terminals and new battery. 
 

Yesterday he said that he needed to take the Edge to a ford dealership for re-programming this morning. 
 

Should I be worried? I know it’s complicated so I’m being very patient. And I can’t figure out how I should feel.
