Krys
Hello. Will the 13-19 explorer and Taurus 18 inch steel wheels fit on a 2011 edge. I quickly test fit them without tires and they looked tight to the front caliper with about 3-5mm of clearance. Not bolted down

dabangsta
They should be fine. They should be same width with slightly different offset, but it depends on what model and FWD vs AWD. SE FWD was available with 17 aluminum wheels, but if it is AWD it has larger rotors (doesn't need to be a Sport to have the larger rotors). 18 should be the smallest for AWD. What size is your temp spare? I know they are narrower and face can be contoured differently, but should be telling. Why not bolt them down with at least 3 lugs? 5mm of clearance with the brake caliper should be fine, unless there is interference with the back of the wheel and the face of the caliper or bracket, but these steel wheels don't seem contoured to cause that. Krys
Mine is a SEL AWD with 18s. I quickly test fit one steel wheel on the front when buying them. It was tight to the caliper but looked like it cleared by maybe 3-5mm hard to say just eyeing it, i wasn’t able to spin the wheel to check clearance since the car was parked. I will get it on a hoist this week to check.
