Mikey L
Me and a bud are working on a family members car. We started with pads and noticed this part had burst and sent grease all over. We've been trying to figure out what part it is but are unable to. Our current ideas were ball joint and motor mount but they didn't match up When looking at those parts. 1004ron
It's the constant velocity joints in the drive shafts - there's kits available to replace the rubber boots and refill with special Moly grease but they're not reliable and a waste of time and money. If high mileage its best to replace the complete drive shaft / half shaft.
