TXHoss
I have ~80K on my Edge. Just changed all 4 rotors and pads (Powerstop with ceramic pads). Did the install myself. Everything was taken apart, cleaned, greased appropriately, and torqued back together. Brakes work really well. Now have about 300 miles on them. The other night I made a hard stop and they performed great, but right before the vehicle came to a complete stop, I heard a grinding (95% it is coming from the front) Tried it a few more times and still hear it. So I took the wheels off and checked everything. No issues I can see. Rotors feel perfectly smooth, etc. I took them out and bedded them with about 30 30-5mph hard stops with 30 seconds in between, then let them cool off (per Powerstop recommendations). Noise is still there right at the very end before complete stop. Any ideas? Thanks! Edited July 30 by TXHoss
