STBEAST
I have a 2024 Edge St. I have read where the rear axle disconnects from the system (when not needed) to save fuel. I am curious on how this system works. I am guessing the PTU and RDU would both have to disconnect the rear axle to achieve this? How do they do this? Thanks. lildisco
Not specific for the ST, but should be similar:
garycrist
Thank you for the MACT video! I understand why the PTU as well as the RDU life spans may be shortened. Just like automatic transmissions under load, the more they shift, the more HEAT they make and the quicker they grenade!
