Older member who added another Edge to his vehicles

When I joined this forum around three years ago, I did so because my wife had just gotten a new 2021 Edge SE and I wanted to learn everything I could about her car. Now I have an Edge of my own: last week I traded in my 2020 Fusion SE with no options for a loaded used 2021 Edge SEL in Desert Gold with Dune interior. The car had been a lease vehicle with 31,135 miles on it: my local Ford dealer got it at an auction, and put on rear brakes, four new tires, new wipers, and performed an oil change. The front brakes passed Maryland inspection, but they have at least one warped rotor: the dealer is installing new front brakes at their expense this coming Thursday. The car was sold anywhere from $2850 to $5000 under book value, depending on where you look. It was listed as a Car Guru's Good Deal, and it has a super clean Carfax report (I actually found it on the Carfax web site). Because it was a lease, it was maintained properly.

My new SEL is loaded with options: it has the convenience package; Co-Pilot 360 Assist+ with adaptive cruise control and lane centering; navigation; panoramic vista roof; heated steering wheel; upgraded alloy wheels; and Ford all-weather floor liners that came from the factory. Other than a slightly scuffed passenger outside mirror cover, likely from hitting a concrete post in a parking garage, it's in great shape. At some point in time, I might replace the scuffed mirror cover.

There now are two 2021 Edges in our driveway, and I couldn't be happier.
