GTEyes
You folks think Lincoln will add another, more powerful engine option to the Nautilus?

Yes, a 4 cylinder in a car that size is a deal breaker for me. If only they had an ST model!
lildisco
If you did a blind test between the 2.0L Ecoboost, 3.5L Duratec & 2.7L Ecoboost, 99.999% of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference, if not more. The 2.7L Ecoboost would have much more pick up compared to the other 2,but I highly doubt most people would know the difference between the 2.0L Ecoboost or the 3.5L Duratec. It's the old stigmata that people stick to that make them think they need the V6 because of how heavy it is. I bet if you hoped into any edge with the 2.0L or V6 with the same drive train you would not be able to know which engine it has.
garycrist
As for power of a 4 cyl. engine, I seem to remember an Offy 4 @ 2.6L making 750+ HP. SPEED Horse Power costs money. Made in China is a deal breaker. Any way, they are built for the Chinese market with the US as secondary... I wonder what spyware in the OS, is given to the user for free! akirby
I’ve owned an edge 3.5L and a MKX 3.7L in the past. I’ve also owned a 2.0eb Fusion and Escape and we currently have a 2.0eb Nautilus. My F150 is a 3.5eb with 470 lb/ft. I’ve driven an Aviator 2.7eb. The 2.0eb blows away the 3.5 and 3.7 in drivability due to the increased low end torque of the ecoboost turbos. It only runs out of steam above 5500 rpm but most don’t drive at WOT. 2.7 is definitely faster but most drivers would never notice or care about the extra power. They just don’t drive that way. So if you do drive that way and care, get the 2.7L. For everyone else the 2.0l is a great engine especially with the 8 speed.
Davidoo
The other problem with this 25 Nautilus is that the tow package is only class I. I think that is only 1,500 pounds, while the Edge had Class II up to 3,500 pounds. I like the size of the Edge and the towing, so I guess I will have to get something not Ford next as they have cut out all the vehicles I would want. Nothing but Fords since the 70s. Wubster100
No side sensing system or active park assist. 😡 The connected vehicle modems reported that no one used active park assist, so Ford is going to get rid of it to save about $60 per vehicle, or $10 million a year. These Lincolns are already expensive enough, so why not keep active park assist for the Lincoln Black Label trims?
