Need a Ford ESP Plan?

I have a man we have worked with for many years on a different site. He has

given me permission to forward  his information to anyone needing a Ford ESP plan.

He is the General Manager of the dealership so there will be some rules, as we do not

need his e-mail box filling with B.S.

PM me and I'll be glad to forward Joel's info to you..

The process is simple as sending in the VIN year and mileage and picking one's plan/plans.

It is my understanding these are at his cost.

Gary

P.S.

In Florida, it is an insurance policy and is handled in state. I make no money too!

Just found out a little trick when comparing plans. Most strip all of

the goodies and add them back. So make sure you get the rest;

This is from my guy.

"No worries.  Just need to be sure comparable plans are being offered  All of my prices include

1st day rental

Key Service

Enhanced Rental

Lighting

They strip out all the options and make you add them back."

Here's an update. While doing an oil change (Valvoline Protect and Restore) and a 25K mile service on the

the RDU, I noticed a nice bronze goldish color in the RDU fluid. (OH BOY). While draining the oil, I noticed the

oil pan is leaking and the battery is shot after 2 years 3 months.

Thanks too knowledge gleaned here about the oil pan fix, it was time to trudge to the dealership and talk to

a service advisor. My ESP goes to 75K miles and 2028 but, if the RDUs and PTUs keep failing, should I trade in for

an Explorer ST or can I extend my ESP out to say 125 K miles+ for a few thousand dollars? That question was answered

promptly by my ESP guy in less than 30 minutes via e-mail. Save your $$$s was the answer! Wait till 73K miles or a few

months before the 2028 deadline. One has to respect one's contact when one has the wallet wide open and he won't take

your money!

If you need an ESP Quote  give me a PM I'll set you up with my guy (I make no money or bird-dog fee). After that I'll drive

a ways to buy a new Ford (If we live drive that long).

When I bought my 2024 Edge ST, they offered me the Ford Premium Care ESP for $1,745. It was for 8 years or 60K, whichever comes first. Since I only drive 5-6K a year, it was a no brainer.

I believe the Premium Care plan pretty much covers everything.  I hope!

I cannot believe with all the new technology (crap) on these cars today, that they will go for too many years without something failing.

And with my luck, something major will happen right after the warranty expires! 😣

That is far more than I paid for 75K/ 5 years.

I'm sure on new vehicles with a Ford ESP it starts from day 1.  So that only gives you 2 years of additional coverage past the base warranty.

I purchased a similar plan to STBEAST but with a little more mileage, and paid approximately $1500. I purchased it online through a different dealer because my selling dealer wanted to sell me a third party warranty. He said the Ford warranty wasn't any good, I disagreed and still do.

I did a bit of research, and the Ford Premium Care Plan is by far the best, as it covers almost everything. And they will use OEM.  8 years is 5 years past the standard so it really made sense for me to do it. With all the technology and gadgets, something will have issues.

I got 10 yr 100000 mi from a Ford dealer on line (Flood) Premium for 2400 after using $400 Ford points from the car purchase. 100 deduct 1st day rental & lights, but skipped the keys.  Of course one of the fobs went down the drain (literally) and I had to fork out $$ and bought a refurb one. I probably overpaid for the Warr but it was the best price I saw on line.

Boy, talking about a day late and a dollar short.  I just finalized my ESP through another online dealer.  I don't know what your contact could have done, but I still think I got a pretty good deal on this one.  I went for the 8 years and 100K, since I plan on keeping it, but probably not forever.  Anyway, it would have been nice to get a quote from him anyway.  Oh well, onward and upward!

My 1st. plan expires @75K miles/ 2028. I just did a RDU service and

discovered metallic glitteries! I am not as mobile as I once was. Do we

keep the problem and extend the ESP or swap it out for an Exploder ST?

I contact my guy with my wallet wide open! He told me keep your $$$

till 73K miles or 6 months before expiration date to renew. Hang onto your money!!!

After that experience as well as other folks experience,  I why people from across

the US do some driving.

Here's what I did. I went online and got a quote from Levittown Ford. Then scheduled an "The Works" oil change with my local Lincoln/Ford service dept. After The Works, I  walked up and talked to the Business Manager (he's the one who writes the contracts.)

He gave me the usual spiel on the various plans & costs. I picked the best and then told him I had a quote from Levittown. Would he match. (Of course he would, never had been in that spot before, caught him off guard.) I had printed out the quote, he read it and instantly matched.

Then he said that they would need to do an inspection on the car. $100.

(This is normal as when they write a contract on a used car, the need for the dealer to do a full inspection to make certain their not getting stuck with an existing condition. If they find anything, you're required to bring it up to snuff before the contract is signed.)

Said I had just had the car inspected in their service bay. Got "The Works" oil change. He looked surprised, and called the service manager. Service Manager told him that I was just in and an inspection was part of the service. Didn't find anything. So no $100 inspection charge. 😁

OK, he's got the contract ready and I then ask him "what else can he do for me, to best the offer from Levittown Ford." He asks what do I mean and I said that I wanted a $0  deductible. Looks dumb founded. Hits the calculator and offers me a $0 deductible if I have all of my service done in their shop. (Otherwise its a $100 deductible.) Sure, no problem, so I sign, save hundreds of dollars and a hundred at each service.

PTU began belching black goo 3 months later. Service personnel came into waiting room, long face, sorry, just found, estimated around $1,800, sorry. And they also found the right tie rod was bad. $450 (I think.) Ok, let's get it scheduled.

We walk back out to the service desk and I inform them I have Extended Service. They tell me that I may have to pay for the service then turn it in to my warranty company.

(They explain how many of the aftermarket warranty companies refuse to authorize or are slow to pay and they are tired of the hassle.) Can't blame them.

Tell them I have the Ford Extended Warranty, faces brighten and click, click on the computer and we'll get you scheduled next week. No problem, no cost.  😁
