bbf2530
Hi, Anyone know the location of the fuel filter on an '07 Edge? Thanks! Hi 18ACHEVY. :D It is in the fuel tank and does not need replacement in normal service. From the Owners Manual: FUEL FILTER Your vehicle is equipped with a lifetime fuel filter that is integrated with the fuel tank. Regular maintenance or replacement is not needed. Hope this information helps. Good luck. :beerchug:

I run 15% though here in Iowa. But there is a world of difference between 15% and 85% 5.7 times to be precise.

I asked because I've never seen any 15% . But then I don't look for E anything. When E85 first came out some of my elderly coffee friends were making special trips to fill their late 90's early 00's cars with E85. I printed them a couple of articls about the bad milleage and how mush it would cost them to repair if they kept using it. I think a couple of their pacemakers kicked in. ab

I rather they put one on there and have me change it for the 15 minutes it takes.
Splitpi
What kind of mileage do you get with the 15% ? ab About 15-16 in the city [which is ~70% of my driving with AWD] Highway I get about 19-21. But this is with winter blend and below zero temps for the winter. I'm waiting for the summer blend, it should improve gas mileage. bluetexan
Well, my 2006 Fusion has this "lifetime fuel filter" as well and my service guy (that I trust a whole lot more than the service people I just got to know at the Lincoln dealership) tells me that he's seen plenty of Fusions that have 100,000+ miles on them and no issues that can be related to any kind of sludge/clog in the fuel filter in whole or part.
