edsasdelli
2015 Ford Edge Sport. Rear, passenger side, inflatable seat belt was pulled all the way out to install a car seat, now the bottom reel is pulled all the way out and stuck. The top reel still works normal, only the bottom is stuck. It won't retract. I tugged and pulled, no luck. I even drove the car about 20 mph and slammed on the brakes. No luck. Is there an easy fix or do I have to get Ford Dealer to replace the whole mechanism?? Thanks.
Mrs. Carrington
I am having a very similar issue. I did the car seat thing and now my belt is in, but won’t come out. I’m at a loss and need the seat belt but don’t wanna take it to the dealership
Jaikae
My rear passenger seat belt won’t come out either. Did you find the fix?
garycrist
I can offer you a suggestion. It might be possible to un-stick the seat belt if over-extended with a thin flexible piece of steel. (read Slim Jim) Try slipping it on the inside of the belt and move the tool down till resistance is encountered. ( the belt seam) I've unstuck a few. Watch the video to learn MY the cheat!
