Pat1911a1
Considering buying a 2024 edge in Florida and dolly towing it to ohio. What advice would you give me?
dabangsta
Don't do it. Any with the 2.0 are not flat or dolly towable. The 2.7 can be flat 4 towed, I don't know if that includes dolly or not, but I don't think it does. Download the owners manual for it, but best is all four on a trailer.
Pat1911a1
Can this be safely towed even though it is 4wd with the front wheels on the dolly. What about speed limits, 70-75mph ok?
Pat1911a1
So far not looking good. Will have to do some more homework
Pat1911a1
Manual says Don't. Thanks for the heads up. 35mph top speed and not more than 50 miles. Oh well!
Haz
While I have not used one personally, I have read glowing descriptions on other Forums about the goodness of U-Haul auto transport trailers. If you have -- or can rent -- a tow vehicle of appropriate capacity -- which U-Haul will verify prior to renting you the trailer -- then that may work for your trip to the Buckeye State. Good luck!

Several years ago I used a Uhaul trailer to transport my vehicle (1998 Buick Riviera) from CT to CA .. and back.. (long story) definitely a viable option
MLTEdge
You may, and I say may, be able to have a decoupler installed. There are companies that make them for this purpose. Not sure if they make one for 2024 Edge, but I remember seeing them when I found out I couldn't flat tow a manual tranny Tacoma after dealer told me I could. That's a whole nother story....
