Running Boards

Will be installing runnings boards on a 2020 Titanium.  Too many choices so I have narrowed it down to the Black Horse and Aries brands.  Any recommendations on which brand is better or is it a toss up?

First, welcome to the forum!  I have the Aries retractable running boards on my F-250, and have no complaints with them.  I never even thought about running  boards on my Edge, but I suppose you couldn't go wrong with the Aries on it!

Have the Aries on both of my Edge's for the last few years. No problems.

+1 on the Aries.

 

Tho, I ended up using 4 mounting brackets (2 intermediate brackets) per side because the recommended (three) resulted in a LOT of flex (I'm 250). The underbody has enough holes to just about equally space the 4 brackets... but then you have to buy an extra set of brackets to get the extras (also available on Amazon). Very little flex when I step on them.

Don't remember why it says "doesn't fit" on the website... but they've been installed for over 2 years now, so take that with a grain of salt.

I installed the Black Horse Peerless running boards.  Very nice.
