bhamraS97
Hi All, There is no rear tweeter wire on my rear left driver side door. I see wire going through the B pillar but I don't see any pigtail or wire going to the tweeter. The tweeter is there but no wire. If say there is no wire coming for tweeter could I use a T wire connector and use the Circuit VME39 and RME39 to run a wire to tweeter? Please any advise?
dabangsta
What model and radio (SE 6 speaker, SEL SYNC 3 and Premium Audio, Titanium/Sport with 12 speaker Sony w sub)? Must at least be 9 speaker as 6 speaker setup only has tweeters in the front. I thought it it was like many other Fords and the wiring for them came off the lower speakers, but doesn't seem to be the case, the woofer and tweeter both are wired all the way separately so that is weird.

Mine is the SEL Sync 3 with 9 speakers. To overcome the muddy sound on the left side I put it aftermarket speaker (https://www.crutchfield.ca/p_108R6532EM/Infinity-Reference-REF-6532ex.html) and disconnected the right side tweeter for even sound, but oblivious the bass from factory speakers were better so I wanna go back to it but want to fix the tweeter wiring first. bhamraS97
Hi @Haz, thank you! One clarification, from the wiring diagram, the VME39 circuit is going out from the C702 connector to C730 connector?
Haz
Yes, as the connector details included in your original post show, Pins 1 & 2 convey the positive (+) speaker lead and Pins 3 & 4 convey the negative (-) speaker lead to the door speaker (woofer) and to the door tweeter, loosely illustrated by this photo of the backside of the door speaker from FordParts.com... ...with the paired 1/2 & 3/4 Pins connecting to the door speaker's positive (+) & negative (-) wires off the connector's L-shaped lugs. Good luck!

I'd try connecting the tweeter to the woofer through the use of jumpers with alligator clips; as a test to see if it's just a missing harness. If it does, it's just the harness. If it doesn't, it's either the tweeter or the crossover on the woofer. There has to be a reason the harness was removed, it would never have left the factory without it. Did you buy the car used?
