pmricci
The title really says it all. The interior lights come on when I use the button to do so, but I am unable to get them to operate automatically when the doors open. The online manual is of absolutely no help. Anyone know how to accomplish this (getting the lights to come on when the doors open)? Phil
dabangsta
There is a button in the roof center console that allows you to disable the courtesy lamps coming on when opening a door (or enable it). It has a pictograph with a car with a door open and slash through a bulb emitting light... if it amber that means that interior lights are off. While the HTML manual is pretty bad (much easier to find stuff in the PDF in older model years available for download) it is there: Edited November 13, 2023 by dabangsta
Haz
As @dabangsta describes, from page 103 of the 2024 Ford Edge Owner's Manual (PDF download link)... Good luck!
Tannoury
Ford Edge 2024 ST, there is a button with battery icon kind of look like that you can turn it on for automatic on and off internal lighting when you open your car door. It is located where you manually turn the inside lights on and off in the ceiling of the car. See pic below.
