chrisg
So we just picked up a 2008 SE and it looks like the rear shock has been leaking, not surprising since it has 180k miles. Has anyone installed the Bilstein B6 shocks on their first gen? Also, what about the H&R lowering springs? They look pretty nice and I've had good experience with them on my old BMW. I did a search for Bilstein and H&R but couldn't find much; possibly the search terms?
Sjej
im wondering too, i need new shocks and im considering going with the B6s. but it would be $477 all around, so i wanna know if its worth it or if it's just better to go OEM and throw on lowering springs
enigma-2
I replaced my rears with Motorcraft. No complaints. Would never consider lowering, already running 20" rims; too many pot holes and bad roads around here. We like a quiet, smooth ride.
EDST777
Hi, how do you rate the rear suspension trimmers of the car , such as Bilstein 19282992 or better to choose something else?
garycrist
I used KYBs for our 2008.
