dabangsta
Once we signed all the papers on the 2019 Edge SEL, they detailed it one more time. Somehow they got that slick nasty spray on the back side of the cluster. I didn't notice it until the sun hit it, but I would have noticed it on the test drive. Can the back of the clear plastic lens be accessed non destructively and easily? It doesn't seem to be going away, it isn't going to evaporate it doesn't look like. dabangsta
Thanks, that attached workshop manual pdf is very handy! Lens appears to very easy to separate. With the 201a group I have the bottom cluster with the 2 screens.
bofus
I had "factory splatter" on one of my cars back in the day. I had to remove the entire cluster and separate the front plastic from the rest to get at it. I think the person putting the cluster together at the factory must have sneezed on it as it was sideways. No way could have it been done when in place. Yep...super annoying to look at. You can see the diagonal "drops" of something on the tach in the dark area. Cleaned up easily, just a pain to get to it.
Nbanic5577
Needing to do a similar project to my Edge. Replacing just the lens cover. Anyone know if i will have to actually unplug and remove the whole cluster or can it just be done without removing it?
