ST seats heating

The seats’ heating on my ST is excessive, regardless of the setting, on driver and passenger sides. Does someone know ForScan codes for controlling these settings?

Not sure about heated seat level with Forscan. However, the buttons should provide various levels of heat, sounds like something else is wrong. Personally, I have a bad back and would like them to be hotter!

I do know that the heated steering wheel offers that level of control.

I've noticed these seats do get hotter and heat faster than most cars I've owned. Lowest setting can feel warm when ambient is 60-70 degrees, but higher settings need to be turned down unless its real cold outside and car interior not up to a comfortable temp. Certainly the higher settings are not meant to be left on after interior warms up, more so when car left outside overnight and you're climbing into a 30-40 degree interior. Seat gets warmed faster than car heater warms up, thank goodness.

I think it is normal for them to get pretty hot when turned up all the way.  I live in Phoenix and have never used the heated seats on my ST, but my fiance gets cold easy and turned the passenger seat on high when it was probably 55 degrees outside.  She said it got very warm quickly, so she turned it down to the lowest setting and it worked fine.

-23 Celsius at the moment. I don't complain about the seats getting too warm.

I think the heat output is partly dependent on the interior temperature. The warmer it is inside the easier it is to heat up the seat. Personally, I don't use them until it's in the 20-degree Fahrenheit range or less.
