wthrower
Do any of you think it would be possible to effectively get the amber insert out of the headlights? I hate the orange look. And I also want to take the taillights apart and paint the chrome trim on them black (like the sport). I wish there were aftermarket headlights or Altezza taillights available for our rides. I've already painted my grille and foglight bezels black, and want to finish off a "cleaner" look. I guess I could always do a lens tint, but its not really the path I want to take. Edited December 30, 2008 by wthrower
lexington1
Sorry not sure on your questions, but would love to see a pic or two of your grill painted black. I'm surprised I don't see more blacked out edges. Looks like I'm getting an 08 Limited tomorrow.
Loosecannon
Has your grill started chipping yet?
DJ Nap
Has your grill started chipping yet? I noticed a "bubble" under the chrome yesterday, small, but definitely underneath.

lexington1
Haha. Funny about the gas. Well, probably funny now, not then. Looks good man, also like the fog light surrounds black. Did you paint right over the grill or did you scuff up with a high grit sand paper...or....?

Did you paint right over the grill or did you scuff up with a high grit sand paper...or....? no, i just cleaned with 409....then applied a few coats of plastic primer...waited an hour or so, then applied a few coats of $.98 per can Lowes Flat Black paint. Turned out great. Beware though, it will chip. I usually just wait a while and touch them all up
