Mirage52
I own a 2017 Titanium AWD with V6 engine. Yesterday it was 32 degrees in the morning so I used auto start and let car run for around 6-7 mins. I got inside and noticed there was no heat/defrost blowing and no heated seat or steering wheel. Same thing happened this morning. This worked last winter, but over the summer I hit a deer and the vehicle went into the body shop and I also changed a battery not soon after. I am thinking one of these could have contributed to the heat/defrost not working with auto start now. Any suggestions?
1004ron
Do you have the Climate Control set to Auto?
Mirage52
Just went out to car to check. Yes, it's set to AUTO under the auto start options. Edited November 16, 2022 by Mirage52
CARR142
In my experience with this issue, the interior temperature is what triggers the auto setting to turn on. For example: Car parked outside @ 32 degrees: Sun through the windows, or parked in garage, interior temps higher than outside temps, will not set added features on.
