radicalfury
I've had this issue since the beginning of time and dealer has not figured it out or done anything about it. It happens especially when hot out side , AC on. They tried the glue and reseal method in the TSB but no fix. I'm thinking it has something to do with the PTU or trans, but they say they cant replace the PTU unless its leaking. (or Cat?) Any help would be apricated ! 1004ron
Is it a rotten egg sulfur smell - if so that happens when unburnt fuel get into the CAT. What TSB are you referring to?
radicalfury
Yes Rotten egg sulfur smell fills the cab under hard acceleration on hot days.. omar302
That TSB is for the older generation Edge. There is a newer one for 2015+ models (TSB 18-2057 - link). To test if this is really you issue, run the A/C in outside air mode (recirculate off).
