Antonin
When I started looking at the Edge, the Ford.com website offered HID headlights as a "yet to be priced option that would be available in the future". Out in the boonies of Ontario, Canada where I reside, they're considered beneficial (with proof) in order to cut down the chances of running into stray wildlife. ;-) They're no longer an option on the Ford.com site, and I'm wondering if they are in the plans. At the (somewhat exhorbitant) price that the Edge will be priced at in Canada, I'd expect that HID headlights would be at least an available option. Can anyone comment on whether this is in the plans? This vehicle is still on my shortlist of 3, but HID is almost a must-have for me. Thanks! test_drive
I think it will be an option next year. I am guessing that Ford want that option alone now for Lincoln MKX.
KCEdgeDealer
I strongly urge Ford to include them as standard equipment on the high end package and optional on the base SEL. Murano has it.
robertlane
Murano has it. THAT what I was wanting to know. Thanks. And I agree, the Edge needs this option.
