Haz
Posting this to provide historical reference to timing of under-hood insulation discontinuance... SSM 50313 2019-2022 Edge - Under Hood Insulation No Longer Equipped - Built On Or After 7-Feb-2019 2019-2022 Edge SE and SEL vehicles built on or after 7-Feb-2019 and Edge ST and Titanium vehicles built on or after 2-May-2019 are no longer equipped with an insulation panel on the underside of the hood. The vehicle is not misbuilt. The addition of any parts is not a warrantable repair. Do not submit a claim for this condition.
Davidoo
Yep, noticed that too. Already had the dealer put one on it. Really sad the things Ford left off of these. By the time we're into the 23's which is the Edge's final year, they will probably leave off the tires.
Will2U
I did buy the hood insulation but I don't think I will do the deflector at the rear bumper. (I'm not limber and young enough to handle the installation.) I do think the insulation made a difference in the sound from the engine compartment and it's simple to install. edgeidiot
I have added the hood insulation pad. It is a direct fit for my 2020. Their website shows that it fits all 2020 models (I do not know about the other years, but unless they also deleted the grommet holes, I would think it fits any model of this generation.) The part number is KT42Z16738B. The grommets are included. Should be $100. I should have added that the installation takes no time. johnmarkp
Did you notice any difference in engine noise in the cabin?

I only had the car a few months before installing, but I believe it did make a slight difference in the cabin.
