Clarks
I recently changed the valve cover gaskets on a 2007 MKX 3.5L AWD. No it comes up with these codes and has no acceleration. Changed the throttle body, ECM and accelerator pedal. Did the relearn and still have the same codes come up and no acceleration. Baffled on what it could be. enigma-2
Sounds like the ECM detected a serious fault and put the car in limp in mode (no acceleration). Problem is, many things can trigger this code, unrelated to the throttle body. I would begin with a full scan of all modules, to see if other modules are showing problems. As it occurred after replacing the valve cover gaskets, it may be fruitful in rechecking all electrical connections that were disturbed and all vacuum lines, for continuity. Its possible you broke a vacuum line (its a 2007 and rubber ages) or pulled a pin loose inside a connector. (Any possibility that a fuse blew when changing gaskets). This site offers advice on this code: https://www.obd-codes.com/p2110 Edited January 27, 2022 by enigma-
