I'm looking for the piece that holds the strut in the bottom connected to the wheel. Not sure what the name is of this piece. enigma-2 Posted November 2, 2021 Report Share Posted November 2, 2021 Are you thinking of the bracket at the bottom of the strut? That part is permanently connected to the strut. The strut is bolted through this connection to the steering knucke. If its broken, you'll need to replace the strut. (In pairs). There are dozens of aftermarket struts available. Most will give you a much harsher ride. If you intend to keep the car, I'd recommend Motorcraft. Cost a little more be dependable quality.
