A few months ago, auto start stop worked for a few days after I drove for about 8 hours on the highway. All the more reason to test it.
my2k2zx2
We put an H7 in our 2016 back in 2021. The tray is just big enough for the H7 and does have a mounting hole for the retaining bracket. Edited November 26 by my2k2zx2
flymore
I put in the recommended battery from Interstate. Besides resetting the BMS is there any other changes I need to make? Thanks. https://costco.interstatebatteries.com/results?key=auto&Program=100500&ZipCode=75254&l=75254&Country=United States&year=2338750&make=2339667&model=2339683&engine=2339689&option=2339690 Your Battery Information Item Number 1700454 Group Size 90 (T5) CCA 600 CA 750 Voltage 12 Ah 56 Length 9 1/2 Width 6 7/8 Height 6 3/4 Weight 32.1 Termination Code TOP Wet/Dry W
Wubster100
If you did not upgrade to a larger battery size or different battery chemistry, then there are no changes to be made except for resetting the BMS.
flymore
No, I didn't upgrade the battery just went with the recommended one from the Interstate website for my 2018 Edge 3.5L. Thanks. Just wanted to be sure.
1004ron
Today the windshield installer left my lights ON in Aux Power mode for ages to the point that it cut out - I then put my 2.5 Amps charger on it and a while later when he wanted to connect the Autel device to in Aux Power mode, this time with the lights and AC unit off, it still cut out quicker than it should, but of course it didn't have much time to charge since the first event. I started looking at a replacement and decided I'd go with an AGM H6 this time, but after getting it fully charged my battery tester says that its still 100% healthy so I'll hold off on the replacement for now. This is what I'll go with next time: ACDelco Gold Automotive AGM Batteries 88864541 $167.00
