edgemaster
Hi, I had a Pioneer head unit (AVH-310EX) installed in my 2009 Edge Ltd. I noticed that the 2nd and 3rd line of the RDS system never refresh, no matter how many songs are playing. Only when I change the station and change back those 2 lines refresh but then, again, they stay there for hours. Is there a setting that I haven't found or is that a genuine flaw in the RDS? tsquale
Did it work before with your old head? If so, perhaps an issue with the Pioneer unit
edgemaster
The previous radio was that Ford 6-disc changer, there were no additional lines.
enigma-2
I'd recommend resetting the main processor. (To reset, press the tiny button in the upper left side on the face. Make certain nothing is plugged in such as USB, or etc.) You can use a ball point pen or toothpick. Another thing could try is to turn off the "Local" setting. (Have no idea if this would work, but can't hurt to try).

enigma-2
Thought of another idea (probably worthless but ..... hey). Next time you're at some distance from home, (at the mall, work, store) try setting your home location in. See if setting the home location when you're not at home, changes anything. edgemaster
Guys, thanks for the suggestions. I tried them all and, alas, no dice. Seems to be a defective radio, bummer.
