not on a 2015, but on some 2015s. the torque converter housing seal has leaked. case seal has leaked on older MYs, but none that i know of on the 6f55 yet.

This is very strange, this transmission leak all the oil whit out any advice or warning in dashboard cluster.

I assume the oil leaking is coming from the o-ring in the oil pipe.

im going to the dealer the next week (Monday) , and text here what they say me about this.

Well this is the situation,

this Car in Costa Rica has 3 years or 60 000km of warranty but Ford USA has the “Powertrain cover” warranty that extend to 5 years of coverage.

the dealership is goin to investigate the problem whit my transmission and contact me tomorrow to tell me if my car applies to this type of warranty.

if not apply, I’m out.

After waiting for 4 months, they gave me the car and the next day there is a leak again.

I took it back to the dealer and they told me that it had excess oil ..... ?????

How is this possible if they installed the gearbox?

After the adjustment they gave me the vehicle again and now I have slippage problems in the box, through FORSCAN and an ODB2 reader I can see that the box operates between 100°C and 110°C

According to the official FORD manual, it indicates that the transmission fluid must operate between 85°C and 93°C.

At the moment I am in the dealer writing this post, I am waiting to be told what is happening, I am almost sure that the oil must be black and burned.

I think I have a problem with the cooler or with the bypass valve.

The dealer says 110°C is normal!!!!!!!!.

Some have an Edge 20017 Ecoboost that can validate with OBD2 or Forscan if the transmission fluid operates at 93°C or more?

In the attached diagram, you can see all the pipes that the transmission has, I touch all the pipes ant he are all hot except the number 1, it is cold. This test I doit whit the fluid transmission at 100°C.

Is any one know that I can delete or remove the thermostat that come inside of the bypass valve?

I live in Costa Rica whit temperature like 30 Celsius. And right now my transmission works at 100 Celsius all the time included at idle, I think this thermostats is not working correctly, so for safety reasons I want to remove.

is this possible?
