Luca Pelszynski
Hello guys! I'm new to this forum, bought 2015 Edge Sport recently. It had 72k miles when I bought it. All was good for 3k miles, it was cold winter there were no noises. But then suddenly I started getting weird noises on very light throttle, sometimes the car makes strange noise, like "whoooo". It's really annoying and I'm worried if it's a sign of something bigger. I checked all the pipes that I could reach and they seem to be in place. Here is the video (in 0:13 you should hear this sound) Do you have any ideas what it could be? I can not replicate this sound in parking... The sound is not always present, it's not predictable. Once I was able to get rid of it by accelerating hard up the hill, thought the issue is solved. But then on the next day it appeared again. Luca Pelszynski
Possible, by the way - is hissing sound from the fuel tank a normal thing? I can understand that tank is little pressurized, but I did not have that in my other cars.
CrackedDSM
Sounds like an exhaust leak honestly.
Jm2theg
Did you ever figure out what the noise was. My edge just started doing that same noise.
