gonesail
so we have 100K miles on our Edge with V6 and are planning on replacing the spark plugs as scheduled maintenance. it seems logical to go ahead and replace the ignition coils at the same time. I have heard to wait until they throw a code but we all know that happens at a bad time. What say the Edge owners out there? And which coil packs are you using as reliable replacements? Thanks ? handfiler
To be honest I wouldn't replace the coils. They are very reliable and better than anything the aftermarket is peddling.
1004ron
I have 68K miles on my 2017 2.7L TT V6 and don't plan on replacing good working coils.
niceonept
There's no reason to replace the coils unless they are faulty. They should last for decades.
