jthomp7889
Hey guys, I have a 2018 Edge 2.0 with the P0302 misfire... I have 78k and no doubt clogged intake valves. I have changed plug and coil and ran CRC Intake cleaner and some gas cleaner to no avail... I would like to try manual cleaning but need to find a shop in south Florida... Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
with a 2018, sorry to say, you need to check if you have a Cleveland built engine. check for a 420 or 422 on the label on the pass side of the valve cover. if you could post the label here, even better. these particular blocks are known for coolant intrusion into the cylinders, the only fix being block replacement with a VEP block or remachined Cleveland block. =============
jthomp7889
Great... thanks for the info... So far I have not seen coolant drop.. So far anyhow.. The only rough idle I get is at cold startup (sometimes) but smooths out after about 1 min or less. When I ran the CRC Intake/Turbo cleaner through it I did have less issues and it ran better so I am keeping my fingers crossed it just a dirty intake for now.. However... I do have a Jan 2018 Cleveland engine..

Rettigman
What machining of the Cleveland will help this?
