PrinzII
This is interesting to note. My Fram air filter and in-cabin filters from Wal-Mart cost less than having the dealership change the air filter alone. PaulSchott
I am getting my 2007 tomorrow but when I test drove it there was almost no volume of air. I had taken the car home and decided I didn't want it because of the A/C. I remembered my Contour and thought of the cabin air filter. That one had mold growing on it. The Edge was from Arizona and has a screen filter, not a paper filter. The screen was so blocked with dead bugs and crumbled leaf parts that you couldn't see the sun through it. A good hose down and the A/C is as good as new. The first repair and I didn't even own it yet. LOL
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Awesome! Might want to run some Listerine spray through the vents for 30 min with heat on max (I know, summertime, right?) to keep the bad stuff out. Hopefully you won't need to foam the evaporator core as well.
Bo Keifus
A little late on this, but I only have the screen in mine as well, no filter. I guess those of us who couldn't afford the auto AC are not worthy of breathing cleaner air..
Bo Keifus
Also, Is anybody's rear air conditioning weak? At full blast, my rear AC is kinda a joke..
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Nope, people are always wanting to shut it off coz it's too strong!
Bo Keifus
Interesting. I cleaned out my screen yesterday (it wasn't that dirty though) but it seems the rear AC still isn't that strong. My AC in the front is super strong though-any suggestions? Again, I've got the base SE..
