enigma-2
Check your antenna connection (both the antenna screwed in tightly, no corrosion, and interior cable connections, the one inside the upper console and behind radio).
four7bird
is there a youtube video on how to get to the Antenna on the top of the car and the one inside? is that easily accessible?
enigma-2
Couple of thoughts on this. As your FM is runnimg below the FM quieting level, the reception via the antenna is suspect. This is particularly true if your also experiencing poor reception on the AM band (AM is weaker and more directly influenced by a bad antenna). How's your AM reception ? The second possibly is your vehicle battery is going bad (low voltage). (Some radio's are sensitive to input voltage). four7bird
Am Radio is just fine no problems there so I'll got to the battery next and see the output
enigma-2
Probably a bad ACM but might try a power reset. • Turn on and select the am or fm radio. • Hold the power button (think its the center of the volume control on yours). At the same time press the right seek button and hold both for 5 seconds. • When reset is triggered, display will say "resetting" then let go. Have you added anything to the car, such as LEDs? Cheap Chinese LED headlights have been traced to FM interference (sends out an EM hash in the FM intermittent frequency range).
